Welcome!

This is going to be a simple, I mean very simple, blog.

I'm going to be posting reviews of albums that maybe you have never heard of, or have heard of, but haven't heard them in years. Over the course of maybe 100 years, or maybe even longer, music has been recorded. New music is being recorded every day. There are thousands upon thousands upon thousands of albums that have been recorded and released commercially that you haven't heard. Pretty much in my hunt for new music, I'll be searching for albums that at the newest, will be from the 90's. There are tons of critics that review every piece of new music that comes out today. What I want to do, is dig up music that isn't heard that much these days. Unearthing new treasures.

What I want to do, is find little gems that may, or may not, have been forgotten in time. I recently have decided that I want to start collecting vinyl. This is opening a Pandora's box of music that might not have made it to the digital age. I will search used vinyl shops, garage sales, goodwill, and as many second hand stores I can find. In this search, I feel that I should share my discoveries. Letting you, the reader of this humble little blog, join in on this journey with me. I'll be sharing pictures of the albums I find, and my thoughts of the music.

Music has always been a part of my life. My tastes range to everything you can really think of. I really don't limit myself to just one genre of music. As I write this, I'm listening to Echo and The Bunnymen's Porcupine album. Twenty minutes ago, I was listening to Pantera's Vulgar Display of Power. Before that, Red Hot Chilli Peppers' Blood Sugar Sex Magik.

I love discovering new music, but I haven't been impressed with anything much that has been released recently. So instead of looking towards the future, I decided to look to the past. Learn what came out in the 20's 30's 40's 50's 60's or 70's and 80's. Discover any lost morsels of good music I may have missed out on in the periods of when I wasn't even alive yet.

So please join me, or if you can, maybe mention something that i haven't heard of. Help me feed my hunger for new brain stimuli, new emotions, new wonders, from the past.

Thank you, and stay tuned!
